High Speed Data
At the heart of any data acquisition system lies the data acquisition hardware. The main function of this hardware is to convert analog signals to digital signals, and to convert digital signals to analog signals after doing the required processing at high sampling rates. Such hardware finds an extensive use in Radar data acquisition, Seeker navigation, Jammers and Direction Finding applications.
Vrinda’s FPGA based high speed data acquisition system maximize the quality of captured wideband signals, signal to noise ratio and spurious free dynamic range over a very wide frequency bandwidth with ability to acquire and transfer data simultaneously in real time. The hardware consists of high speed ADCs(1.5/3.0GSPS) ,DACs (1GSPS) and high end FPGAs to achieve this high end requirements.

|Digital Radar Receiver Hardware (VTDRRH)|
The digital radar receiver hardware is based on Virtex-5 FPGA , four ADCs of 550MSPS and two dual channel DACs of 1GSPS to receive radar signals and do the required processing. The hardware enables to transmit/receive data from external world via various communication interfaces like Avionic MIL1553 interface using ARM9 processor and DDC MIL1553 chipset.
|Quad Channel IF Data Receiver (VTIFQDR)|
Quad channel IF receiver supports IF range data acquisition and processing using quad channel ADC, DACs, SX and LX FPGAs. It also has a high end Power PCs to provide additional processing and communication interface to the external world. This is mainly used in onboard computing systems and seeker navigation.
|L-Band Receiver (VTLBR)|
The L-Band receiver is based on Virtex-5 FPGA and single channel ADC of 550MSPS.
